In this column, we will talk about embroidery, a topic that customers have been asking about for some time.
The first product, "Nara Maki - Super Thin Belly Warmer," features lucky charms embroidered on items related to Nara.
We aim to create a belly warmer with embroidery that will soothe your soul and warm your spirit.
So, let me introduce each embroidery style to you today.
This story is going to be long, so I will split it into two parts: Part 1 and Part 2 .

First, the embroidery of a mother and her baby deer .
Speaking of Nara , it's deer.
There are many Nara products that use deer as a concept.
Deer do not appear everywhere in Nara Prefecture, but there are many of them around Nara Park in Nara City, Nara Prefecture.
In Nara, deer have been protected since ancient times as messengers of the gods.
The embroidery this time is of a mother deer and her baby deer.
Since baby deer do not hang out with their father deer, they are modeled after their antlerless mother deer.
I also learned about this for the first time when I was making this embroidery piece.
I think this cuteness will warm the hearts of people of all ages and genders,
I would be happy if you could use it as a gift.

Next is the Great Buddha of Nara.
This Great Buddha took more than 7 minutes to embroider.
Those who have seen the actual product have smiles on their faces ( laughs ) .
Even the spiral hair on the head is embroidered individually.

This is also the image of the Great Buddha when speaking of Nara.
This is a product lineup that is used by many people.
Putting a Big Buddha in your stomach...

At the end of the first part
It's a little hard to tell because of the colouring, but it's Nara pickle .
Originally, Nara pickles are tortoiseshell colored ( dark brown ) , but
We wanted to make the most of the colors of Yamato vegetables, so we made Naramaki's Nara pickles colorful.
The vegetables include melon, cucumber, watermelon, turnip, and round eggplant, all of which have been cutely illustrated.
The seven types of embroidery are basically available in two colors of embroidery thread,
Narazuke is expressed in three colors,
The purple color of the eggplant is accented. Cute.
Nowadays, in Nara, you can enjoy a lot of dishes that use Nara pickles.
- Narazuke Pizza
- Narazuke cream cheese
- Potato salad with Nara pickles
There are also lots of recipe variations.
Even those who don't like Nara pickles will find it a delicious accent to dishes.
( Actually, I don't really like Nara pickles on their own... )
