"Asuka-Fujiwara: Archaeological Sites of Japan's Ancient Capitals," which thrives here in Nara and Yamato, has finally been officially registered as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
To celebrate this World Heritage registration, we are launching a new "World Heritage Registration Commemorative Package" for our popular "Naramaki Mecha Usui Haramaki" (super thin belly wrap) Kitora Tumulus mural series.
■ The "Dawn" and "Two Colors" embodied in the commemorative package
1. First-ever use of gradient colors: "Dawn of Yamato"
This is the first time a gradient color has been used for the "Naramaki Mecha Usui Haramaki." This beautiful gradient represents the light of the "Dawn of Yamato," which, after many long years, finally culminated in World Heritage registration.
◆Noble Purple (Ancient Serenity): "Purple" symbolizes the noble figures who sleep in the Kitora Tumulus, inviting reflection on history. It represents the ancient mystery and dignity passed down through eternal time.
◆Vermilion Orange of Fujiwara-kyo (Energy of Life): The vivid vermilion pillars that supported Fujiwara-kyo, Japan's first full-fledged capital city, represented by "orange." It expresses the vibrancy of the capital and the powerful energy that still breathes today.
2. Limited gold seal of Kitora Tumulus adding celebratory light
A special limited seal celebrating the World Heritage registration is placed on the upper right of the package. The seal depicts the beautiful silhouette of the "Kitora Tumulus," which conveys ancient history to the present day.
This World Heritage celebratory seal is also affixed to the "seal patch"!
It will be rolled out sequentially from Monday, July 27, 2026, so we hope you will take this opportunity to pick one up.
