Celebrating World Heritage Status! The "NARAMAKI Kitora Tomb Murals Series" Debuts in Special Commemorative Packaging.
Thank you very much for your continued support and warm patronage.
We are thrilled to announce that "Asuka-Fujiwara: Archaeological Sites of Japan’s Ancient Capitals," rooted here in the historic land of Yamato, Nara, has officially been inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site!
To celebrate this World Heritage registration, we are launching a new "World Heritage Registration Commemorative Package" for our popular "NARAMAKI Mecha Usui Haramaki" (super thin belly warmer) Kitora Tumulus mural series.
■ "Dawn" and "Two Symbolic Colors" Embodied in the Celebration Packaging
1. Introducing our First-Ever Gradient Color: "Dawn of Yamato"
This marks the very first gradient color design for our "NARAMAKI - Ultra-Thin Haramaki." This dynamic shift in tone symbolizes the luminous "Dawn of Yamato" — honoring the long history and dedication that led to this celebrated World Heritage designation.
◆Noble Purple (Ancient Serenity): Purple symbolizes the noble figures resting in the Kitora Tumulus. It represents the mystery, dignity, and quiet majesty of ancient history passed down through centuries.
◆Vermilion Orange of Fujiwara-kyo (Energy of Life): Inspired by the vibrant vermilion-painted pillars of Fujiwara-kyo — Japan’s first full-scale capital city. This radiant orange captures the lively spirit and enduring energy of the ancient capital.
2. Limited gold seal of Kitora Tumulus adding celebratory light
A special limited seal celebrating the World Heritage registration is placed on the upper right of the package. The seal depicts the beautiful silhouette of the "Kitora Tumulus," which conveys ancient history to the present day.
(Note: This special World Heritage Celebration Seal is also affixed to our "Patch / Sticker" series!)
It will be rolled out sequentially from Monday, July 27, 2026, so we hope you will take this opportunity to pick one up.
We are delighted to share this great joy with all of you, along with products born in the land of Nara.
We look forward to your continued support of "NARAMAKI" and TATSUMI TEXTILE Co., Ltd.
